After the Honeymoon

So after all the dust had settled on our wedding and we had simply the most fabulous honeymoon in South Africa (using our amazing new camera we purchased under Anthony’s advisement…) we had really only two things to look forward to, the video and the pictures. My early posts likely made this clear, but the most important thing to me was by far the pictures.

There is something so magical to me (to be cliché for a moment) about capturing one moment in time at a wedding, that laugh, the first look, the smallest expression or detail-whatever it might be. So when Anthony let me know the pictures were ready, I wasted no time heading over to his gorgeous new studio space to pick them up.

After chatting with Anthony and reminiscing about the wedding, I headed out with my stash, 1950 pictures to be exact. In the back of the cab I nearly spilled all of them as I began opening boxes (in the dark mind us, using my cellphone as a light) I simply couldn’t wait until I got home. Finally, I recognized this as slightly ridiculous and decided to wait the 10 minutes until the cab dropped me at my apartment.

When my husband got home minutes later, I had every box laid out on our giant coffee table and a plan in place, so we could somehow narrow what turned out to be 1950 amazing images to approximately 200 so we could then narrow it down to 70 for our wedding album. Albeit one of the most difficult things we’ve even done, we sorted through them ooh-ing and ah-ing our way through each and every incredible image.

I really can’t say enough about Anthony personally or his team or business, but I can let some of my favorite images do the talking.
